8 Months Baby Update + Must-Haves

I can't believe that Gray turned 8 months yesterday!! It's been awhile since I've been updating this blog so I just wanted to pop in and say hello. Grayson is doing very well and we're seeing more and more of his personality everyday.

Here's a little update before we get into the must-haves.
His sleep is still a roller coaster, we some some amazing nights and some nights where he wakes up multiple times. Last night was a little in-between. He woke up around 4:30am and pretty much was tossing and turning until 5:30. Because we have decided to not formally "Sleep Train" our baby, we are obsessed with these Mam Pacifiers  as it makes our job a lot easier to just pop it in when he's crying and he'll put himself back to sleep. He's actually at that age where he will look for his pacifiers and pop it in himself sometimes as well.

The Must-Haves for us.

Floor:
Fisher's Price - Baby's First Blocks
He mostly likes to chew on the lid, container and the blocks. Hopefully he'll start to put the shapes into the blocks.

Hape Pound & Tap Bench with Slide out Xylophone
He likes watching the ball roll on the xylophone and he loves chewing on the hammer

Baby Teething Toys
He actually prefers chewing on the green plastic more than the fruits

Stroller:
Infantino Activity Toy
It's not quite long enough for him to reach it if I actually spiral it on the car seat handle so I usually just give him the whole thing. It makes a lot of crinkle noises and it keeps him busy when we're out and about.

Meals:
Grayson loves eating solids and prefers to eat independently. He is not really into using a loaded spoon so sometimes I will use the spoon to feed him or he'll just use his hands.

Bumkins Grip Dish
Perfect if you're into "Baby-Led Weaning"

Munchkin Spoons
I think everybody has these so we've been using it for Gray too. It is a little too long for him to feed himself so I am looking for something shorter maybe.

Munchkin 360 Cup
Again, I feel like most parents use this but since Grayson has never taken a bottle, (we tried for months and he refused so we gave up) we found it easier to just take off the suction and let him drink from it like an open cup.

What are your baby must-haves? What do I need for 9-12 months? Is 8-10 month Sleep Regression a real thing?
