Fireworks Festival

So yesterday we went to this fireworks festival in Seoul.  I don't know how it works exactly but apparently there's a few countries that present their fireworks together on this little "island" called Yeouido, in the middle of Seoul. We decided to go to the next station, Yeouinaru, on line 8 to find a seat on the island.

The fireworks start at 7:30pm but I was told to get there EARLY if we wanted good seats.

This is when we got off the station at 4:00pm...gets you kind of excited, no?

We bought our own Pororo mat because we didn't know that they would be selling them there.

 SO cuuute!

What's a day at the park without Popeyes?

By 5:00pm it started to get busier.

Cotton candy!

Our friends got free glasses that made a heart around every bright light that you looked at. SO COOL! The guy who gave it to them said that it would "enhance" their fireworks experience and we thought it was total BS..buuut..it was just..sooo cool!

 Getting exciiited!

 Last picture before it starts!

Here are some pictures of the fireworks.  Some had hearts, words, and happy faces but I didn't catch them.  I'm sorry that these pictures doesn't do it justice but you kind of had to be there to get the full experience.
