All You Can Eat Tuna!!!

Who doesn't love good tuna sashimi? After I read this article, it didn't take a lot for Claudia and John to be convinced to try "Lee Chun Bok Tuna" (이춘복참치) with me =)

The restaurant apparently gets pretty busy so we went right after school.  If you read the article linked above, you will see that there a few options.  We chose the 35 000won option which allowed us to eat 30% of the tuna, but we can keep reordering our favourite parts of the tuna.  We got swordfish and side dishes as well! It was an amazing deal and it tasted soooo good too!

Most people sit around the bar, there are room for bigger parties though.

Before we begin =)

Swordfish (white) and tuna.  The tuna is definitely better than the swordfish.

Just 3 pieces, it's included with the meal, we didn't order this.

Duck, also part of the meal.

More Tuna!

We saw one of the chefs use this GIGANTIC knife to manipulate this soju bottle cap to get this.  NEAT!

SOOO MUCH TUNA!!!
The one in the back, center was our favourite.  It was the cheek of the tuna. SUPER tender! The one in the front was really fatty and tasted almost too strong to eat alone, but the rest were really good!

Tempura, included.

Included.

Awesome chefs.  Notice all the soju bottles?  We were the only people who didn't order soju with our meal.  Crazy Koreans!

CAUGHT!  He's our chef..he was awesome.  The chef in the back was using a blowtorch, we were curious, hence this picture.

He had extras and asked if we wanted it.  Of course we said yes.  Slightly torched tuna...mmmmm =)

Included! Very refreshing.

We asked for more torched items and got this.  (not sure if this was included with our 35 000won meal, but with the language barrier, we got this =D)
Torched with the bone in so it was smokey, sweet and tender.  This was sooooo good, probably my favourite!

We saw people ordering this, cactus liquor.  Don't know if you have to pay for it, but we didn't =D.

If you love tuna, I would definitely recommend this place.  It's right by Sookmyeong Women's University Station, exit 6.  It's about 5 minute walk from the station.  Very easy to find!

Happy Tuna!

xoxo
